Campbell and NC State launch dual degree program

Campbell University and North Carolina State University will join forces to launch a new J.D./M.B.A. program this fall, the schools recently announced. The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell and the Jenkins MBA program in the NC State Poole College of Management will work together to offer students an opportunity to earn a dual degree after four years of full-time study. The program includes the option to take electives in both business and law.
Administrators at both the law school and business school see this new program as a great way for students to succeed in careers in business, finance, law, government, nonprofit, teaching, and research.
“Law is a gateway degree, opening up many doors and careers,” said Melissa Essary, dean and professor of law at Campbell. “If coupled with a great M.B.A degree, this gateway is widened considerably.”
