The LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice trains lawyers, whether they are educated in civil law or common law jurisdiction, to practice in the field of international business law, preparing them for a career in the global economy. Choose from two tracks: With internship or Without.
The U.S. Law & Policy LL.M. program is designed specifically for lawyers or graduates with a law degree granted from schools in their home country who seek to learn the foundations of the United States law.
Pacific McGeorge’s International Law Program was ranked No. 17 and No. 19 in the country by the 2012 and 2013 U.S. News & World Report. Other than international law, public law, and advocacy, students can take advantage of several programs to help give their law school experience a more global flavor. Along with exchange programs, we have developed relationships with many institutions to help our students gain international perspective and insight. Each year, Pacific McGeorge School of Law, offers innovative summer programs in Austria, Guatemala and Africa.
As a Pacific McGeorge graduate student in beautiful Sacramento, California, you will join an international community comprised of students from all over the world. Practicing legal skills doesn’t always happen in classroom or during an internship. The Sacramento community is diverse and you will have no problem finding several fun and educational extracurricular activities to do in between classes and studying.
