Legal-Ease Seminar at University of Houston

The University of Houston Law Center is hosting a two-day Legal-Ease seminar on
August 8-9 as part of orientation for incoming foreign LL.M. students. This
year’s class of students come from more than 20 different countries including:
Australia, Brazil, China, France, Russia, Nigeria and Switzerland.

Legal-Ease International specializes in training Legal English to attorneys throughout the
world. The Houston course will cover the appropriate terminology and structure
to be able to create contracts in English.

The University of Houston Law Center offers LL.M. students from across the globe
a number of advantages. Students can choose from one of six specialty programs,
two of which -- Health Law and Intellectual Property & Information Law – are
ranked in the Top Ten according to U.S. News & World Report. Other highly
regarded programs are Energy, Environment & Natural Resources, Tax Law,
International Law, and Foreign Scholars in which foreign-trained lawyers can
design a general course of study or customize their curriculum to specific
interests.
