The University of Tulsa College of Law

The University of Tulsa College of Law is uniquely poised at the vanguard of global energy law and is cultivating the industry leaders of tomorrow. TU College of Law is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a geographic area with a long-standing tradition of energy production and resource management. The college has leveraged this physical and historical advantage to become a renowned institution for energy law in the United States.

On March 1-2 2013, nearly two-hundred students and young attorneys from across the country traveled to TU College of Law for the 2013 Hartrick Symposium: Career Paths for Young Attorneys in the Energy Sector. The University of Tulsa College of Law hosted the conference in conjunction with  The Institute for Energy Law (IEL).  International LL.M. students, J.D. students, and young attorneys participated in an unprecedented networking opportunity rooted in practical, substantive information for the professional prospects of current U.S. and international energy law students.

On the heels of the successful Hartrick symposium, TU Law also co-hosted with the renowned energy law firm of Mogel and Sweet, the exploratory Conference: Energy Issues in the Second Obama Administration. Speakers included representatives from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, expert consultants from the natural gas industry, practicing energy law attorneys, and distinguished energy law faculty. These 2013 events are just the beginning...

We invite you to explore your options for an LL.M. in American Law with a concentration in Energy Law at The University of Tulsa College of Law.

Applications are still being accepted on a rolling basis for August 2013 admissions.
Admission into the Energy Concentration is limited and competitive.
